This talk explores how global dynamics, such as energy price fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and labor market pressures, translate into real-world constraints on project timelines, budgets, and delivery. With a focus on the Hampton Roads region, the session will connect macroeconomic trends to the day-to-day realities of project management in industries such as defense, logistics, and infrastructure. The session will provide attendees with a framework for understanding external risk, improving planning under uncertainty, and communicating project challenges more effectively.
